I grew up just 10 miles from this lighthouse at Pere Marquette Park in Muskegon, Michigan. Yet I don’t recall ever getting down there for a sunset shot in my early days or any visit since….. until now. I’ve managed to get down there on three different evenings thus far to catch the sunset over Lake Michigan in this heatwave that the Mid-West is having. Even at 9:30 pm when these shots were taken thereabouts, it was warm enough to swim…..
